Dark and Stormy
Ingredients
- 2 ounces cold
- 2 ounces Gosling’s Black Seal
- ¾ ounce fresh juice
- 1 ounce House Syrup
- Garnish: 1 wheel and 1 piece of candied on a skewer
Method
Pour the seltzer into a Collins glass. Short shake the remaining ingredients with ice for about 5 seconds, then strain into the glass. Fill the glass with ice cubes and garnish with the lime wheel and candied ginger.
History
Born in Bermuda in the early 1900s among Royal Navy sailors mixing their rum ration with ginger beer. Gosling's, the Bermudian rum producer, later trademarked the name.
