The Martini
Stir all the ingredients over ice, then strain into an Old-Fashioned glass over 1 large ice cube. Express the orange twist over the drink, then gently rub it around the rim of the glass and place it into the drink.
Invented in 2001 by London bartender Wayne Collins, who was in Bordeaux for a wine trade show and improvised a Negroni from French ingredients on hand — Suze standing in for Campari and Lillet Blanc for sweet vermouth.
